- 1 pound Super Firm Tofu*
- 2 tablespoons Buffalo Style Hot Sauce
- ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
- 2 tablespoons Nutritional Yeast
- 1 tablespoon Corn Starch
- 2-4 tablespoons Buffalo Style Hot Sauce** optional
Tear tofu into bite-sized pieces and add to a large bowl.
Add 1 tablespoon hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, nutritional yeast, and cornstarch. Mix well until tofu is evenly coated.
Air Fryer Instructions
Arrange the tofu in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 15 minutes at 385°F, shaking halfway through.
Toss the crispy tofu with the remaining ¼ cup buffalo sauce and air fry for 5 more minutes until hot and crispy.
Oven Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or reusable oven liner.
Spread tofu evenly on the baking sheet in a single layer.
Bake for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Toss with the remaining ¼ cup buffalo sauce and bake for 5–7 more minutes before serving.
*Super Firm Tofu- Extra Firm Tofu that is drained and pressed or patted dry will also work for this recipe!
**Buffalo Sauce- The additional buffalo sauce and baking time can be omitted, reduced or swapped for buffalo sauce or another of your favorite sauces. Adjust to your personal tastes.
