I started this blog as a way to share my passion for plant based cooking. This is a no judgement zone and my goal is to make this blog an all inclusive space of kindness, love and of course, yummy food!!
I'm a mom of two toddlers, a registered nurse, gardener and home cook! I've been vegan since August 2018 and I've never looked back. What started as a journey for health quickly turned into much more as I learned more and more about veganism as a lifestyle. Veganism has such a basis in kindness, for all living creatures and that includes yourself too. There's no such thing as a perfect vegan in my eyes. But the more imperfect vegans in the world the better!
Since becoming vegan and learning to give myself some kindness, I've lost almost 40lbs as an effect with very minimal effort. I'm still on a journey to a healthy weight range and I've gotten to a place where more mindfulness is needed. So that leads me here, on Sam Cooks Kindness I'll be sharing my favorite plant based foods with an emphasis on healthy whole foods! But don't worry some vegan indulgences will sneak they're way in too!!
