What if I don't have a Ninja Creami??
While this recipe is written with a Ninja Creami in mind, it is possible to make it without one! To do so, you will need to freeze the base ingredients in ice cube trays or similar.
After frozen you can add the to a High Power blender with a ⅓-1/2 cup of soy milk and blend until your ice cream is nice and smooth.
FAQ
You can add the apples as a mix-in, instead of a topping, if you prefer. However, you need to allow the hot apples to cool before doing so. They can be a little warm, but don't add the hot apples into your creami machine.
You have options! As written, this is very mildly sweet. The apples and a drizzle of maple syrup over the top will balance it out for you a bit. However, if you want it sweeter, you can add maple syrup, dates or more monk fruit to the base ice cream if desired.
